Validity and conditions

To enter Sri Lanka, every traveler must be in possession of a valid visa (ETA). This ETA is valid for six months, in which one time travel into the country, with a maximum stay of 30 days. It is not necessary to book a flight ticket at the time of application. However, a return ticket must already be booked while traveling to Sri Lanka. The traveler must also be able to demonstrate that he/she has sufficient financial means to pay for the stay in Sri Lanka.
